Growth Patterns and Capital Formation in the Eastern EU Member States

The conference will focus on special features and roots of growth from capital investments and formation in Eastern member states of the European Union in comparison with the rest of the EU. The presentations will be organized around the dynamics and composition of FDI inflows and outflows, impacts of FDI inflows, the relocation of FDI, industrial structure of investments, credit growth and investment booms.

The range of the topics linked to capital formation will be analysed from academic, policy maker and business aspects. The speakers will be leading representatives of the academic community and international organisations (European Commission, OECD, World Bank, UNCTAD,), and national authorities.
